盛夏の候、時下ますますご清祥の段、お慶び申し上げます。平素は格別のご高配を賜り、厚く御礼申し上げます。
石油開発情報センターでは、これまでIHS-Markit社(現在、S&P Globalの傘下)とのパートナーシップのもと、我が国の石油・天然ガス開発事業に携わられている方々の関心が高いビジネストレンドや重点関心地域の探鉱・開発動向等を提供するとともに、この1、2年は、世界的な脱炭素の動きやCOVID-19の世界的な感染拡大による影響等を重点的にフォローしてきましたが、2022年初に新たに生じたロシアーウクライナ紛争の長期化と深刻なエネルギー危機に発展してきている現状を踏まえ、急遽、現下に起きているロシアーウクライナ問題及び世界経済・エネルギー情勢への影響を読み解きながら、刷新されるエネルギー業界の今後について、特別企画のセミナーを開催することになりました。
本セミナーは、“The Changing Energy Landscape post Russia-Ukraine”(ポストロシア‐ウクライナ問題のエネルギー産業の展望)と題して、2022年7月28日(木)の午前・夕刻の2部制で、欧州及び北米から4名のS&P Globalのエキスパートがオンライン参加します。ショートノーティスになりますが、参加希望の方は、以下より事前登録をお願いします。

概要: 本セミナーは、“zoom webinar”を使用し、オンラインで開催します。
第1部では、ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻がもたらした問題を読み解きながら、世界経済や世界のエネルギーへの影響について短期、中期の視点から掘り下げます。
第1部の後半では、その分析結果を踏まえて、エネルギー企業へのインプリケーションについて考えます。主に、ロシアのE&Pにおけるメジャー企業の対応や国営石油会社の動き、また、紛争の長期化やエネルギー安全保障への懸念が高まる中で企業の脱炭素戦略の方向性といった点を解説します。
また、夕刻の第2部では、アップデートが完了したばかりのS&P Globalの長期シナリオによる最新のエネルギーアウトルックをご紹介します。

Roger has more than 25 years of experience in advising governments, oil and gas companies, and financial institutions on oil markets, geopolitics of oil, and assessment of the strategic shifts of the global oil and gas industry. He leads a team of analysts and strategists to advise asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, and investment banks by providing customized analysis on the oil and gas industry. Recently, Roger has been focusing on strategies that investors are implementing to capture value in the energy sector and the implications of the decapitalization of the oil and gas sector and capitalization of the energy transition. He still leads analysis on topics as varied as the global exploration outlook, the geopolitical impact of US shales, China's energy outlook, or the changing strategies of the Gulf national oil companies.
Roger holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Sorbonne University, France, and master's degrees from The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, United States, and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Paris, France.

Mr. Teittinen is responsible for IHS Markit Herold equity analysis, valuation, and strategy assessment of the Canadian oil sands companies and Global Integrated Oils. He is also responsible for the annual Global Upstream Performance Review, which analyzes upstream performance for the top 200 publicly-traded E&P and integrated oil companies. Mr. Teittinen joined IHS Markit Herold in 1998. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. Mr. Teittinen holds a BS from Georgetown University.

As part of his work managing team coverage of national oil companies (NOCs), Andrew oversees research and analysis pertaining to government policy and company strategy assessments, as well as authors reports on NOCs in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Caspian region. He also contributes analysis and insight on government energy policy and upstream investment risk in Russia, Eurasia, Turkey, and the Caspian region for the Oil and Gas Risk Service, as well as the Russian and Caspian Energy team. Andrew has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, and has lived and worked in Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, France, and the Czech Republic. Prior to joining S&P Global, he worked as an international energy analyst for a contractor to the Energy Information Administration, the statistical division of the U.S. Department of Energy.
Andrew holds a Master of Arts in international affairs and environmental policy from George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, D.C.

Paul is an Executive Director with the Energy and Climate Scenarios team at S&P Global Commodity Insights. His work covers energy and carbon markets, long-term decarbonisation trends, climate policy, and strategic responses to climate change and the energy transition. He is highly experienced in both development of energy and climate scenarios, as well as their application in assessing climate-related risk and opportunity for organisations across the oil & gas, power, industry and financial sectors. Prior to S&P Global Commodity Insights, Paul led the climate transition risk team for a leading global sustainability consultancy. He also has many years' experience working in research roles across the energy industry.
Paul holds an MSc in Global Environmental Change and International Policy from Imperial College, London.
